Drypod is an Irish distributor for Podab drying cabinets, and is based in Banbridge, County Down, N Ireland. Our offices are strategically located to serve the Island of Ireland in the supply and installation of Podab drying cabinets. Podab is the primary manufacturer for drying cabinets since 1945.

Firstly running costs compared to tumble dryers or dedicated drying rooms are hugely reduced compared to these inefficient methods of garment drying. Drying cabinets have huge benefits over tumble dryers because they dry without mechanical action. Gentle and Fast Drying

In a drying cabinet, the garments are subject to less wear and tear. Even the most delicate items of clothing will be dried gently. By checking the labels on the clothes, you will find that approximately 30% of all garments need very careful washing and drying treatment. Furthermore, outdoor footwear, heavy clothing, carpets and protective clothing that are difficult or impossible to tumble dry, dries fast in a drying cabinet.

Prefect for Heavy Garments

Podab drying cabinets offer the ability to dry heavy, bulky items such as helmets and boots, overcoats and heavy outdoor clothing and PPE equipment. The drying cabinet FC20 is especially designed for firemen’s jackets/heavy duty PPE equipment to dry fast because of the unique hangers. The specially designed hangers dry the inside of the garments and the distribution of hot air within the cabinet dry the outside layers. This is a fast way to dry the textiles and extend the life of the garments.

Reduce Energy Consumption By 50%

All our drying cabinets have a humidity tracking system which switches off drying when the cabinet’s contents are dry. This gives perfect drying results with the least possible energy consumption. If you choose our cabinets with heat pump, the energy consumption will be reduced by 50%.
